I noticed that in all the three stories, the person providing the view was the wife (or I should say, ex-wife). Where is the husband's story? :-p Unfair-lah... :-D

Divorce = Adultery

(Mat 19:3) The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
(Mat 19:4) And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
(Mat 19:5) And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
(Mat 19:6) Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
(Mat 19:7) They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
(Mat 19:8) He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
(Mat 19:9) And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

God takes our marriages very seriously. If you can't remain faithful to your spouse (and work out whatever problems you may have between you), there is no way you can remain faithful to one God. You will also turn away and seek other gods the next time He allows a trial to come upon you.

If, in a marriage/relationship, you always demand your spouse/partner to change his/her ways to suit you, while you refuse to budge from your own attitudes/ways/habits, then, in your relationship with God, you will also expect God to be the one to change His view/will/plans, while you act like a pampered brat that wants everything your way.

We need to seriously grow up - spiritually - in order to be ready for marriage.
