MyBrain15 plans to create 60,000 Phd holders among Malaysian. The plan looks interesting but what concerns me is what are the 60,000 Phd holders going to do after that? Become lecturers, well I know that's gonna suck, given the average lecturer's salary here. Lecturers need to eat also you know.
My greater concern is its just going to be a dog show. Since when does the advice of academician been asked in implementing any policy here? They were just, well, "Keep quiet and teach, and let us politicians worry about the policies". That's why sciences was taught in Malay, English and now Malay again, cause of all the politicians. Even the minister of Education has never been in a class teaching, yet he implements all the "smart" policies.
Sigh...
