Here goes:-
The boiling frog experiment states that a frog can be boiled alive if the water is heated slowly enough — it is said that if a frog is placed in boiling water, it will jump out, but if it is placed in cold water that is slowly heated, it will never jump out.
One source from 1897 lists an experiment done in 1882 at Johns Hopkins as evidence that "a live frog can actually be boiled without a movement if the water is heated slowly enough; in one experiment the temperature was raised at a rate of 0.002°C. per second, and the frog was found dead at the end of 2½ hours without having moved."
The way I see this experiment:- If you are comfortable with the current situation and pressure is applied little by little, you will try to hang on to the comfort until you die and hope things will get better, but often, it never gets better.
However I don't advocate the boiling of frogs ok, unless you wanna make frog soup or something like that :P
