In the olden days, the "Pasar malam", or night market is where families go to buy their weekly supplies of food and groceries. The night market is held once a week and it used to be quite happening where you can buy clothes, food, toys and even fork and spoons.
Times changed, and with the coming in of the hypermarkets, the function of the night market slowly declines, but you still can buy cheap food there.
On Wednesday, there is a night market near Taman Brown. so its the place to go.
Sugar Cane drinks for RM1.20
Tomato rice for RM2.
"Ayam Percik" for RM2.
Not bad right?
