A tragedy

On 17-Jan-2010, 6 people lost their lives when the dragon boat that they were in overturned.

A tragedy is sad, it makes people cry, its makes people angry, how can this happen? Hopefully some lessons are learned over this tragedy.

Remember the last one, when the bus crashed into the divider near Ipoh, how many died? Can you still remember? Or how many students died when the bridge they were crossing collapsed in Perak?

Not learning from a tragedy is a tragedy. But waiting for another tragedy to happen is the real tragedy.

Actually my point is everyone should learn and take action to prevent the tragedy from happening again. Tragedy can happen anywhere, either in government or opposition state.

@YB ...

You do realize that the bridge construction was without permit and other necessary approvals from the local government and state departments, don't you? And it has been validated by engineers that the bridge's structure was weak.

Dear YB, you are doing the same thing when you ask me to scold Lim Guan Eng for the tragedy.

Remember, both the government and the opposition government have weaknesses that need to be addressed. A holier than thou attitude will get people in trouble.
