He managed to fight off the group but was distracted by the girl he saved earlier and was shot in the back..
Fronsac found his dead friend, and found a silver bullet, trademark of on of the nobles. He went back to the place and killed a lot of the enemies. It seems he is a better fighter than Mani..
The next morning, he was arrested by the local authorities..
The girl, the spy from the Vatican visited him and told him the Beast was created by a group of people, let by the local priest as a device against the King of France. And that the Pope has ordered her to stop the group and that Fronsac knows too much. It seems later he was poisoned and supposedly died.
Later we see some agents digging up his grave.
