Today afternoon I went out for lunch at Pelita Nasi Kandar. As fatew would have it, I met one of my professor and ex-boss too. We chatted and he asked me where I am working now. I told him I was working in a college.
Then he recommended me to do phd as it will open a world of opportunities and said that its not that hard. And I don't have to do it in USM, there are other place like Uitm, UPM, UKM, UM, bla bla bla.
Actually what he said is true. If you just have master, you are "incomplete" in the teaching world cause you can only teach until degree. And you end up in those colleges that will squeeze your soul out. Honestly I dont want to teach Java until I die...
The nay-sayers will say I am too old, or too busy, but I think I don't care what other people say. I still remember meeting one guy who obtained his phd when he was 60 years old. He had the same convo as my master's convo.
The problem now is finding a topic..ha ha
