Another weird movie from Japan

Asuka, a woman in her thirties, works in a lakeside fish factory. She’s about to be married to her boss, Taki. One day, she encounters a Kappa – a water sprite found in Japanese folklore – and learns that the creature is in fact the reborn form of Aoki, an old crush who drowned to death when they were 17. What ensues is a wacky spectacle of love, music and sex.

Some problem in updating blog

Sorry for the delay, now it seems Windows 7 cannot recognise my handphone via USB connection so I have trouble transferring some files. I think I want to buy a new android based handphone so I can upload diirectly from my phone.

All about KPIs

KPI stands for Key Performance Indicators but to me if implemented wrongly it's Killing People's Initiative.

Let us look at this case here.

Is this caused by the KPIs? When I was a lecturer, they have a KPI of 70% passing rate for each subject, but if you have a class that have a lot of weak students, then you are screwed. Sometimes I feel that people implement it without thinking of the consequences. I have heard "rumour" of lecturers at the other centers giving out exam answers to the students, but of course people will deny everything. That's normal.

Groan, more KPIs.

As usual, there will people who will be jumping without finding out the root cause of the problem.

Zomb’asians: Thongs of the Dead

A group of hormonally charged teenagers are trapped on an a mysterious island when their teacher goes missing.

They turn to the islands only resident, a strange ghost busting taoist monk, for help. He tells them of the island’s undead curse and his constant struggle with evil as the lone protector of humanity on the island. Believing he is a certifiable lunatic the teens head out to the dock in search of a cell phone signal only to be attacked by a host of hot barely clad Zomb’asians!

They are rescued by the taoist and his super sexy kung fu daughter; but with no options left the teens are forced to return to the temple to stay the night till the next boat arrives in the morning.

Things go from bad to worse as the girls are captured by a zombie queen intent on one thing: sucking out their life essence to so she can attain everlasting life. Comedy kung fu hijinks and supernatural sight-gags ensue as the boys and the old Taoist must man up to defeat this ancient evil undead bombshell and save the kidnapped girls.

My Life's Update

Been busy plus a busted monitor caused a bit of slowness in updating my blog. I will fix the problem as soon as I can. Here is a quick update on what's going on last weekend.

On Wednesday there was a screening for the competitors for Recsam Idol which will be held next month on the 8th of October. Most of them are very talented and will do great in the show.

Someone approached me and asked whether I want to be emcee for the company dinner. I just gave a little speech and they want me to be an emcee. I said I will take that into consideration. And I am still looking for my red shirt...lol

This weekend was a 3 days holiday due to Malaysia day, so I had a lot of time to spend walking around and helping some of my students.

I been  practicing Tekken again and I would say I have improved a bit, but still can get better. Top Tekken character's played.

Zombie Ass

From the makers of "RoboGeisha" and "The Machine Girl" comes another movie that I surely want to watch..lol

Synopsis:

Bowling Competition

On Monday I was super busy, but I had to give some time because it was the company's Bowling Competition held at Penang Bowl.

FYI, this is where I work now. And for God sake, its not a teacher's training center. That center is behind our building.

Red is the theme

Next month is my company dinner, and of all the colors, they choose red, the theme is "A Glamorous Night in Red". Well, red is not really my color.

So I asked my friend, she said black and red, Gothic. Cool, I have not wore any Gothic clothes since 2007, so its time to look up that style again..ha ha.

Maybe just get a red tie, and go with my black Guess shirt..hmm

Erm, maybe a bit overkill

Well, I still have one month to search for clothes,we will see how it turns out..ha ha.

Hari Raya Celebration

Sorry for not updating for some time, my monitor blew last Friday night, and I haven't got the time to get a new one. Last Friday was a Hari Raya gathering at my company.

 Not bad the food..ha ha. Lucky can still drive back after eating.

Before that we had an assembly and celebrate the birthday of the staff that falls on that month.

Random thoughts in the morning

Sometimes good intention alone is not good enough. You must have the capability to execute your good intention, otherwise it will cause more problem than solution. If you see someone drowning in the sea, yet you cannot swim, it would be foolish, even suicidal for you to jump in and try to save the person.

As an ex lecturer, I always remind myself that I cannot save everyone, I can only save the people that wants to be saved. If I was meant to save everyone, I would have wings, hmm, maybe I just prefer one wing..lol.

My account has been blocked, I tried everything in the universe to unblock it, but it seems their help is going in circles with no solution in sight.
