Friday

Some of the students were super busy doing log book for a subject. The "fun" thing is the University is considered "old school" that you have to do the log book by hand writing and not a computer. Some more have to write a lot. I wonder whether the lecturer really have time to read it all. In a "real" University, its not the lecturer that read and mark all these bloody thing, but they have assistants and tutors to do it, but here we "wannabe" University, its the lecturer that dies reading all this bloody things.Even Wawasan Open University, they have something called "Tutor Marked Assignments" where the tutor gives the marks to 3 assignments.

Super busy from morning until evening.

Only pack McD breakfast to last the whole day.

Want to eat also no time.

Saturday

It rained heavily the whole Saturday until I have to drive my car to Queensbay. Usually I am lazy to drive my car but when forced, I drove up to the 7th floor parking. One thing I hate about driving is parking cause there is always an idiot tha will park illegally and you have to come out super careful so not to scrape the other car. At least my car is not too big because I saw one Toyota Alphard trying to go out after being blocked by another car.

I wonder why some people are so proud to be highly educated but are brainless and disregard the law  or rules when it comes to this. Its like some people that I see buy at Subway and just sit casually at KFC and eat there. Using face English accent, let me tell you I hate fake English accent cause I learned the real English accent at my University. If I speak using that style, non of you will understand me. Or like the person in front of me today, carry 200 items on a 6 items lane. Can't he count?

Rainy days

I guess the weather was trying to make up its mind today, whether its going to be sunny or rainy cause first it was sunny, then suddenly rain and then sunny again. Finally around 10, it decided to be sunny.

I am off to Gurney today, but there is a big jam on the way there. I don't get why its always jam after the rain here?

Had my breakfast/lunch at A&W. At least their A&W extra long coney dog is a bit longer than the one I ate last week.

Two people's birthdays are coming up in April, and this year, I decided to get teddy bears. Gasps, shock. Don't worry, its still the original me here, only I ran out of ideas on what to get them. Who knows selecting teddy bear can be so complicated, I have been to the shop for two weeks and still cannot make up my mind. There's Russ, Lovely Lace and many more. The story of the hunt for the teddy bear is a notable post by itself, which will be posted after the persons of interest gets the bears.

I can be an annoying person sometimes, and I do annoy a certain person a lot. So today I decided to get some "Peace Offering", plus its a belated birthday present, I think.

Gothic and lolita psycho

OMG, I so so so want to watch this movie. It looks so cool.

Zatoichi the last

Zatoichi is the blind swordsman from Japan. There have dozens of movies based on him since the 1960s, and I don't know why the wanted to call this movie "Zatoichi the last", unless you want to kill the franchise. Or make a reboot Zatoichi for the next movie.

Did he die in the end? Well, he was badly wounded but it did not really say that he died and if you watched the older Zatoichi movie, he was wounded even worse, so there. Maybe the next movie, they say someone found him and nursed him back to health, who knows.

Actually I am kind of tired tonight, so I don't have the energy to write a full review. Just give you all a sneak preview first.

Zatoichi was about to retire with his loved one, but an attack by a group of enemies and a sneak stab cause the death of his loved one.

He took refuge in a village and seems contende with the life of a farmer and fisherman.

But when the evil lord threatens the people, he has to pick up his sword cane one last time.

I'll make a full review when I feel better.

Update - I found out that a lot of Zatoichi fans were upset cause this movie made their favorite hero looks weak.Maybe I should review Beat Takeshi's version of Zatoichi.

Conflicted

Usually I like to eat lunch alone or with students. I don't really like to eat with other staff cause they tend to gossip and those gossip usually makes me depressed or upset.

But today, someone joined me for lunch. Latest news, all our evaluation marks have been downgraded. Wtf, the calculation is based on the criteria set by the top management and when we fulfill all the criteria, they say our boss is too generous in giving the marks. If you don't have money to pay our bonuses, just say so, do not give excuses. I am getting more and more disgusted. And I heard a lot of head at Subang Jaya have stepped down. 

Someone was commented that the salary scale is like the mushroom, the top get very high salary, like 80K per month, but for us, even giving bonus like don't want to give. I hope people remember its the stem that is holding the mushroom head.

I don't like to gossip cause I firmly believe action is stronger than word. Amy will start looking for a job in April, maybe I should join her in finding a new job..ha ha.

I am considering to get some new clothes for the season. Shoes, there is a new shoe shop at Queensbay called Pedro. Their design is not bad.

This is getting interesting

In the beginning it was claimed that Datuk T found the video tape while looking for Anwar's watch. Since there are 3 Datuk T, so who found Anwar's watch? Or will the watch disappear from the storyline.

Can UMNO washed its hand from the case since Rahim is an UMNO member???

Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife

One of my students just bought a second hand knife from a dealer and I recognize it as the Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife, used by the British in World War 2.

 Not bad, but its a little too light for me I feel.
