I'm back

Finally I have free time today. I was super busy with writing a report for a conference that I am attending next month. I have revised the report everyday since last Thursday and finally today everything is finalized. The conference will be in the Philippines.

Last weekend I had a class in Wawasan. This is my first class since 2009, it still feels great to teach, but I honestly think I cannot do it full time anymore. If people asked me, yes, I still love to teach, but there are things in the Education business that makes me sick to my stomach. I heard that some staff from my previous college have left, some more this guy use to boast that the college is the best, now he is working in Segi =.=. I honestly think the college should ask themselves why are all their good people leaving? I have the answer, but I don't think they wanna hear it.

I was back my hometown and the padi field have been harvested. Technically this is my land now, but I'm not really concern about that.
A wax apple tree near my house has some fruits.
As you all know I am a knife collector, and I am pondering should I get this. It costs RM130, but is great to hang on the wall and just in case of a zombie apocalypse.

I love this song

Now and then I think of when we were together
Like when you said you felt so happy you could die
Told myself that you were right for me
But felt so lonely in your company
But that was love and it's an ache I still remember

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness
Like resignation to the end
Always the end
So when we found that we could not make sense
Well you said that we would still be friends
But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened
And that we were nothing
I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger
And that feels so rough
No, you didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records
And then change your number
Guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over
But had me believing it was always something that I'd done
And I don't wanna live that way
Reading into every word you say
You said that you could let it go
And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that you used to know...

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened
And that we were nothing
I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger
And that feels so rough
No, you didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records
And then change your number
Guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

Somebody that I used to know
That I used to know
Somebody that I used to know
That I used to know

Somebody...

Kittens

The cat that resides near my office has given birth to 3 very cute kittens...

Over the weekends

I was busy yesterday with a very long meeting, and I was rushing for the knowledge management report and new website template. Today only I am a bit free.

Last Sunday there is a kids singing competition over at Queensbay, and here are the winners.

I was practicing Tekken last weekend, and I would say that I am pretty good in a sense, I can go head to head with the best fighters. Currently I am quite proficient in using 3 players.

Eddy. I find him good against fast attackers like Law and Lily. His sweeps are awesome and he works well against fast, kicking style attackers. Weakness, he has a problem with people who use leg sweeps like King and Zafina, and uppercuts like Kazuya. I won't use him against these fighting styles.

King, his punches and kicks are awesome. And I use his leg-sweeps against opponents who annoy me. One time someone using Bryan keep bouncing me with his leg sweep, and I return the favour the next round, just to tell him not only he can play at that game. Weakness, fast attackers like Lily, that I switch to Eddy.
Jack 6, punches like a tank, his only weakness I feel is he has very short legs =.=

Record Saturday 5 wins 2 losses. Sunday, I saw one player vomit while in a match, maybe fought too long until he gets dizzy lol.
I finally disassemble my knife because I wanted to spray the handle in camouflage color.

Angry Birds are so famous

Yesterday I was in a meeting when my Director told us about a company who use Angry Birds to teach nano technology. I was like, how on earth are they going to do that???

But you can't really blame them, Angry Birds are so popular now, even restaurants are getting in the act, in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year, CantonI is launching Angry Bun!!!

I'm sick

After seeing some Korean cosplaying as nurses..

Zombie Ass Trailer

We are going to flush you! The most crap-tastic zombie movie ever to emerge from Japan’s cinema sewer is finally upon us, and it’s from the twisted mind of cinematic madman and legendary ass-fetishist Noboru Iguchi, creator of THE MACHINE GIRL, ROBO-GEISHA and KARATE-ROBO ZABORGAR! Given free reign by a generous, independent producer to plumb the depths of his toilet-obsessed imagination, Iguchi has created a splatter comedy guaranteed to warm the bowels of those with the stomach for it…while more sensitive viewers may want to plug their noses and flee in disgust! Wracked with guilt over the suicide of her sister Ai, who was tormented by high school bullies, pretty young karate student Megumi accompanies a group of older friends on a trip into the woods: smart girl Aya, her druggie boyfriend Tak, big-boobed model Maki, and nerdy Naoi. Things start to go badly when Maki finds a parasitical worm inside a fish they catch – and wolfs it down alive, in the hope that it’ll help keep her skinny!

And then….zombies! The group is attacked by a crowd of poop-covered undead who emerge from an outhouse toilet, and seek refuge at the home of strange Dr. Tanaka and his daughter Sachi. But unbeknownst to them, Tanaka has been conducting experiments on the parasites–and the zombies!–and has another fate in mind for the five strangers from the city. What’s the connection between the parasites and the undead? And can Megumi’s karate alone help them escape, or will she have to rely on the liberating power of farts to save the day? Featuring special effects by FF 2009-2010 guest Yoshihiro Nishimura, and some truly jaw- dropping contributions from Iguchi’s genius subconscious (parasite anus-zombies?!?), ZOMBIE ASS is a heaping helping of bad taste that may go down rough but is guaranteed to come out smooth and regular.

A movie that will make you say WTF..

From the good guys at Troma.

A long, long time ago in a town north of Tromaville, there was a bad, bad man who raped and killed dads. Nobody could stop the fat monster until a mysterious stranger took a stand. Some say he was avenging his own father. Some say he was just crazy. The stranger could not have known the Hell that was to follow.

убить мужчина , a Russian zombie movie!!!

I LOVE zombie movies, but I have never seen a Russian zombie movie, this is a sure thing to watch out for.

Russian Winter is a terrible thing…… especially if it arrives in mid-July.

“Along the street a snowstorm sweeps, behind the snowstorm … something ghastly creeps!”
Konstantin – a Moscow journalist, hides from the onslaught with the daughter of a local tycoon in a hardware store. Captain Igor Knyazev kranks up the only working tank, whilst his lover, Dasha is running away from her angry husband, who has learned of the pair’s betrayal, and wants revenge, regardless of the weather …

Faced with horrifyingly gripping news material, a dedicated cameraman, Vlad, captures the strange events on video as priest Father Michael gets out his trusty axe …

Out amidst the icy storm, something raises its hideous head – a Russian zombie – senseless and merciless!

Honda CR-Z

I was driving on the highway and saw an interesting looking Honda. I was curious about the car and did some checking, its the new Honda CR-Z hybrid.

From paultan.org

The third Honda hybrid to be introduced in the country is priced at RM115,000 on the dot, on-the-road with insurance (or if you will, RM111,878, without insurance).
The “hot-hatch hybrid,” as the company has tagged it, is powered by a 114 PS and 145 Nm 1.5 litre LEA SOHC i-VTEC engine and a 10 kW (or 14 PS) and 78 Nm MF6 brushless DC electric motor and a sophisticated Intelligent Power Unit (IPU) – together, the powertrain combination delivers 124 PS at 6,000 rpm and 174 Nm of torque at 1,000 to 1,500 rpm.

But its only comes in manual...

Zombie Ass update..

Here is a new poster for the movie..

News of the day - 3-1-2012

3 days leave

I was wondering around during the New Year leave, and it seems that the Chinese New Year decoration is up already at Queensbay. Gurney is a bit slow, but its ok cause the Chinese New Year is going to fall on the end of this month, and this is the year of the Dragon.

Just arranging my knife while waiting for the New Year. I am planning to get either a Cold Steel or Spyderco knife this year.

On Sunday I was walking around at Gurney and I saw a Bata retail store. That sure brings memories of my childhood, during that time, most of the school shoes were Bata brand.
There is a misconception that Bata is a Malaysian brand. Actually no, its based in Bermuda with the headquarter is Switzerland. Since its a foreign brand, why is the shoes freaking cheap, I saw one less than RM100 yesterday (note, RM100 is considered cheap here, my shoes cost me RM418 >.<). So I guess this brand targets a niche market for low costs shoes.
These are my shoes

Other than that, I saw an interesting bag, is it worth getting?
