Exit the Philippines

Last day at the Philippines, 3-3-2012. It's time to go back to Malaysia. This is an old picture at the guest house. You can see the country Khmer.

One thing I must admit it the sky is so blue here.
And there is a fee that you have to pay at the airport, so don't spend all your money.
So thank you for all your hospitality and I will be back once the project is on. Salamat po.

A great looking Taiwan Zombie Movie

I have a soft spot for zombie movie and the latest one looks great. Joe Chien’s Zombie 108

The nuclear disaster that Japan suffered accidentally alters the genes of the influenza virus. A group of young people got infected and haven’t paid any attention to their illness, until a one of them surprisingly bites a girl’s throat, on a drunken night out. Their friends start screaming at the gushing blood. After a virus event, the government orders to quarantine the sick and evacuate all residents in the vicinity. Meanwhile, the army and the police join to form an team to enter the quarantined zone. However, those survivors suddenly become zombies to attack the living. In no time, the whole city is awash bloodshed. People from all walks of life, including gangsters, policemen and the civilians must to work together to escape seemingly, but in fact they have hidden schemes to compete with and even kill each others. The thing most tested when doomsday arrives, is the human mind.

Car Fair at Queensbay

Last weekend there was a car fair at Queensbay so I just went to have a look. Cars are expensive here and you cannot keep on changing cars every year, but I was just looking around.

I love the new Honda CR-Z and the price is not that expensive here, only RM110K ++, har har =.=. But honestly I do love the look, but a bit of warning, its only manual for now, and its a hybrid car actually.
Another car that I love but cannot afford =.=
And what's a car show without girls..

A classic car on display

More girls..lol

Some of the cars on display..

More girls

For Hello Kitty fans

Hello Kitty is coming to Queensbay end of this month..

And if you wanted to become a model..

Girl in the glass..

I was walking at Queensbay on Thursday when I saw this. They have this promotion style now. I wonder how much the girl gets.

I was there again on Sunday, and the guard is actually my ex students, so I can get closer. According to him, each girl only works for half an hour inside the glass before taking a rest and being replaced by others. And actually they do not sell the computer here, you have to go to the shop to buy.

the Philippines, Day 4 - Mall of Asia

Its the the Philippines’ largest and world’s third largest mall, SM Mall of Asia.

Another thing that you need to know is that you need to go through security check before you can enter a mall. They have metal detectors and check your bags, so don't be surprised. Its for your own safety anyway.

Outside Toys r Us

This is one local fast food branch in the Philippines.

the Philippines, Day 4

Early morning there is the presentation and wrap up of the conference.
Then its cultural tour time :)
 Rizal monument
This is the place that went went to.

And the bus has to go through a very tight tunnel, we applauded the driver for managing to get through, with the help of the guard. One thing about guards in the Philippines, they all carry guns, so don't be surprised, but they are very courteous :)
Then off to the Mall of Asia
