That night, we had a boodle dinner.

A boodle dinner is patterned after a "boodle fight". A boodle fight is a military style of eating where long tables are prepared and food are on top of the banana leaves. Viands and rice ready to eat using your fingers/bare hands.

That was a lot of fun :)

Some stuff about the Philippines

The place that I went to is known as Los Banos (pronounced Banios). They have a lot of hot springs on the way but I don't have the time to stop by.

SEARCA stands for Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture, it's one of the SEAMEO Centers. SEAMEO stands for the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation.

 Buko pie - aka Coconut pie, you must try this if ever you are in the Philippines. They put the young coconut flesh/pulp into a pie.

This is white cheese, made from either buffalo or goat's milk. I was eating this when my friend asked me what it was, I replied jokingly lard, and he went :S

 If you get this drink and the waitress said halo halo, its not she greet you twice. This drink is called halo halo (mix mix)

the Philippines, Day 2

I woke up in the morning, it was bright, I thought I was late, but it was just around 6.18 am. The sun rises early in the Philippines.

Thriller in Manila

Finally I have left Malaysia (for a conference in the Philippines..lol) It was last week, on Tuesday. I woke up at 4.30 am because my flight to KL was at 7.00 am. Many thanks to the person that send me to the airport, you know who you are :)

A few days before that I exchanged some RM to Peso. The exchange rate for buying is like 1000 peso = RM75, but when you buy back, you lose RM5, 1000 peso = RM70.

Checked in my bag and then had breakfast at McD, later my colleagues arrive and we boarded the 7.00 am flight to KL. Talk about bad luck, someone snored ultra loud in the airplane all the way and even the foreigners were looking. I forget to record it and post on Youtube. Anyway, here's a friendly advice, if you have a snoring problem go see the doctor to get some medication for it.

We had some drinks at KLIA, and well, it was bloody expensive, RM11 something for 3 persons. Then its time to board the plane to Manila at around 9.30 something. The going out process was simple, you just have to drop the passport in the slot and place your thumb, and you are done.

The airplane was kinda small and the air stewardess like bumped her ass to my shoulder like 100 times..lol. I don't know why they prefer to have air stewardess mush have big chests and ass cause it keeps bumping into the passengers when they get the food or just pass by. Maybe they should rethink this strategy so my friend can qualify as an air stewardess..lol

After 3 hours and 10 minutes, I finally reached Manila. The customs ask the Pakistani guy in front of me a lot of questions, but when it was my turn, he did not even ask anything =.=

 The traffic jam in Manila is like in Penang.

And the cars are all left hand drive.

There are a lot of Jeepneys on the road, but its a pity I don't have the chance to try it. ha ha.

 Finally reached my hotel.

Tokyo Species Review

I know I have not made a review since like 6 months, so I think its time to start making reviews again. I have gotten my claw on the movie "Tokyo Species" starring Maria Ozawa.

When I heard of it, I thought it would be great like Sora Aoi's Big Tits Zombie. but upon viewing it, I found that the movie lacked the fun and blood that I loved in Japanese movie. So there you heard me, if you want to see Maria Ozawa, get some porn..lol.

The story is simple, Maria killed herself and her body got possessed by an alien and she started killing all the people that bullied her. Her good friend and an alien hunter joined up to stop Maria, in the end they managed to stop Maria but the alien eggs are still around. End of story. lol. Sorry folks, I really tried to like it but at 1 hour 10 minutes, it lacks the blood and fun of Big Tits Zombie.

Maybe they got the idea from "Big Tits Zombie"'s sushi zombie..lol. It's Dead Sushi, Noboru Iguchi latest movie.
