SOCIT Orientation Day

Today is the orientation day for the new School of Computing and IT.
Date: 3rd of June
Time: 4pm-10pm
Venue: LR512/6th Floor Open Area (For Dinner Only)
All SOCIT students are invited. (Especially the Jan, Mar, May intake students).

This is the second time this orientation is held, and maybe sadly my last time. The first event was last year.

Out for lunch

Today went out for lunch with some people and bought some cakes from the bakery..

Lunch was at Johnny, with Belacan Fried Rice, Tom Yam, tea and Yam ice cream. That was nice.

Something vs something

It seems now the trend is to include the word vs is movie titles. Alien vs Predator, Alien vs Ninja, Ninja vs Vampire, Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl.

Now I found two more movie with the vs title. Enough already..ha ha

Pocong is a sort of a jumping ghost. Kuntilanak aka Pontianak is some sort of banshee, a ghost of a woman who died while giving birth to a child. For your information, this is an Indonesian movie.

Dahmer and Gacy are real serial killer in the US. Here is the synopsis of the movie.

Today - 1.6.2011

Its almost time to make the final decision on the new job offer.

I woke up this morning it the sky was dark, I believe that it rained the night before.I had a 3 hours class with my students, and then they have another 3 hours class. In the end its 6 hours straight. I feel sad when this happens because of "Optimization" or "fully utilizing the classroom". That's bullshit and everyone knows that.

I wish my fever would heal faster cause I need to go for a medical checkup for the new job. I think its the stress too that cause me to be sick.

Sometimes you see a ray of hope through the cloudy sky.

In the evening I went to Queensbay cause I need to buy a few things like belt, pants and shirt. The problem with me is I don't like to rush when buying things. So in the end, I decided to wait for Saturday then only buy. I did buy a new Esprit shirt though, its cheap and costs less than RM100.

Gonna wear it for Friday's event.
